Two Accounts of Healing
Win was making up a bed in the spare room. As she was working, she fell over and hit her hand quite hard and dislocated her thumb, which left it sticking out at an unusual angle. Win's husband Rob, grabbed her hand and in a very authoritative voice commanded that "this hand be healed in Jesus' name!" As they both watched, the thumb returned to it's correct position.
Win had had chronic back pain for a long time, years in fact and as a group from their church was going to one of Bill Subritzsky's meeting, Rob suggested that she get her back prayed for.
At the meeting Bill Subritzsky had a "Word of knowledge" for "someone with chronic back pain."
Win hesitated, but finally went forward in response to this word. Bill prayed strongly for her and in the process asked her to bend down and touch her toes. Several times this request was repeated. Win was healed and also found herself laughing in the Holy Spirit as a release at the same time the pain left!!
Glyn's Account
In 2009 Glyn and husband Ken were going to Europe to visit family living in Belgium. She had been diagnosed with gluten intolerance and was worried about finding gluten free food while travelling. the day before leaving for Belgium, Glyn came to a prayer group asking for prayer and also seeking a blessing before they travelled.
During the prayer it was discerned that she had a sore back. She felt a burning sensation in her back and immediate relief from pain. Subsequent luggage carrying became no problem! It was also discerned by one of the men in the group, that he thought the Lord was indicating that, if she and her husband took communion every day while away, then her gluten intolerence would be healed.
This felt right to them so they started the daily communion when they got to Paris, praying for healing as they took communion together. She wondered how long she would have to do this and prayed for discernment, He said "seven..... seven days? weeks?. When they arrived at their daughter;'s home, Glyn told her about the "seven" message. After the initial seven days she started to eat a nibble of gluten and didn't experience any tummy upsets. She increased the intake over the following weeks and had no trouble at all. They did continue to take communion daily and felt very blessed and grateful for the healing. She still feels it is quite overwhelming and they still take communion together once a week and thank the Lord for His amazing goodness.
